The thick walls of the bowl are made from spun metal (as opposed to tin) the riser is nickel plated metal and the base is weighted bakelite. The nickel plating preserves the durability of the premium shine unlike silver cups which will tarnish over time. A premium choice for a deserving winner the larger sizes are perfect perpetual cups.
